Why is water hard in my shower?

You may have a water softener which works to prevent scum and soap buildup. This often gives you a slippery feeling when you’re out of the shower. To soften the water you’ll need to incorporate a salt-based softener or reverse osmosis to remove water calcium, magnesium and iron.
